More revenue, fewer support tickets, better customer experience

Add a recurring revenue line to every plan while your customers monitor themselves. Fewer tickets, more margin.

  • Sell monitoring as a paid add-on

Offer it on every VPS and dedicated plan and set your own price. You keep the margin on top of a wholesale rate billed per monitor, and monitors get cheaper as your book grows.

  • Give customers a self-serve dashboard

Customers check their own server health, uptime and alerts in your branded dashboard.

  • Cut your support tickets

When customers can see status and get alerts themselves, the "is my server down?" tickets stop landing on your team.

From order to monitoring in seconds

The flow is built for hosting platforms: add the monitoring option, enroll the server, then send customers through SSO to your branded dashboard.

1

Order

Customer orders a server

A customer purchases a VPS or dedicated server through your platform: WHMCS, HostBill, Blesta, or any billing system.

Provision

Agent installs automatically

Your provisioning script includes the lightweight agent installer. One API call generates the enrollment token. The agent runs as a dedicated user, not root.

# cloud-init / Ansible / post-install hook

$ wget -qO- https://releases.fivenines.io/latest/fivenines_setup.sh | sudo sh -s ENROLLMENT_TOKEN

Plugs right into your billing system: WHMCS, HostBill, Blesta

Start with the ready-made WHMCS module: provisioning, lifecycle sync and SSO out of the box. For HostBill, Blesta or a panel you built yourself, the REST API does the same job from your own hooks.

Manage all your customers from your partner portal

  • Create and manage customer accounts via API or dashboard
  • Define capacity plans once, assign customers to them, and re-cap everyone on a plan by editing it
  • Suspend a customer on non-payment and unsuspend on settlement, with one call each. Suspended customers stop being metered
  • Retry a failed provisioning hook without creating a duplicate customer
  • Generate enrollment tokens scoped to each customer
  • See fleet-wide server counts on your dashboard, then drill into any customer for per-server health
  • One-click SSO links for customer panel integration
  • Read any customer's metrics with your partner key, and pull 30 days of daily monitor, server and customer counts for billing

Every step a reseller automates is a REST call: create the customer, assign capacity, mint an enrollment token, suspend on non-payment, sign an SSO link. Drive it from WHMCS, HostBill, Blesta or your own panel, or start with a bash script in your cloud-init template.

What your customers get

Every customer you create runs on the full feature set. There is no tier for them to pick and no capability held back: you set their monitor capacity, and we don't gate what they can do with it.

Per-customer defaults

1,000

Monitors per customer by default

Override it per customer with a capacity plan you define.

100

Team members per customer

Plus SAML SSO if your customer runs its own IdP.

30s

Fastest uptime check

24 months of history and 100 status pages each.

Built for infrastructure people

The technical details your CTO or infrastructure team will check before approving a white-label monitoring partnership: non-root agent, open-source code, JWT SSO, EU hosting.

Agent footprint

Lightweight. Minimal CPU and memory usage. Designed to run unnoticed.

Agent user

Dedicated fivenines user, not root. Optional targeted sudo for SMART/RAID only.

Open-source agent

Audit the code on GitHub. Customize if needed.

Hosting

Hetzner, Germany. EU data residency. GDPR compliant.

API

REST API with Bearer token auth. Customers, servers, enrollment tokens, suspend/unsuspend, SSO and per-customer metrics. Capacity plans are read over the API and authored in the portal.

Safe to retry

Provisioning is idempotent: create a customer twice with the same external_id and you get the same customer back, not a duplicate. Address any customer by your own id.

SSO

JWT-based signed URLs. 5-minute expiry. Drop into any customer panel.

Supported OS

Windows Server and Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, Raspbian, Rocky, Alma, Arch, CloudLinux, CentOS, and more).

Install method

One-line shell installer. Works with cloud-init, kickstart, Ansible, Terraform or manual SSH.

Data collection

60-second default intervals. A catalogue of 250+ metrics, of which each server collects what it runs. 20+ optional modules (databases, web servers, containers, virtualization, storage health, GPU, VPN) turned on per server, each with its own scoped access. See what the agent reads.

CVE database

OSV, with vendor fix verdicts from Canonical, Debian and Red Hat. Scans host packages and the OS packages inside Docker images (Linux only).

Partner FAQ

The questions that usually come up before a hosting provider resells monitoring under its own brand.

Partner program

How does multi-tenant data isolation work? +
Each customer is scoped separately under the partner account. Partner, customer and agent data are separated by tenant scope, and API or UI access is checked against that scope.
What happens if Fivenines goes down? +
The agent keeps running on customer servers. Branded emails, custom domains and status pages keep the customer experience under your brand. We also provide export paths through the REST API.
What support do partners get? +
Partners get direct email support and a direct partner channel. Response targets and support scope are agreed during the partner pricing conversation.
How does partner exit work? +
There is no contractual lock-in by default. You can export customer, server and monitor data through the REST API at any time.
Can I host the platform on my own infrastructure? +
No. The backend is hosted SaaS. The agent is open-source, but the partner platform is operated by Fivenines.
What counts as a monitor? +
A monitor is any one thing we watch: a server, an uptime check, a cron job, an SNMP network device, or an MQTT topic monitor. Each counts as one, both against a customer's capacity and on your wholesale meter, so a customer running 40 servers and 60 uptime checks is 100 monitors. Suspended customers are not metered.
How are partner pricing tiers structured? +
Pricing is wholesale and volume-based: you are metered on the total monitors across your customers, and the rate decreases as that total grows. There is no fleet-wide cap on your account, so growth is billed rather than blocked. We size the tier during the partner conversation.
Can I customize the dashboard beyond logo, colors and domain? +
White-label currently covers custom domain, logo, colors and branded alert emails. Deeper UI customization is handled case by case.
What integrations exist with WHMCS, HostBill and Blesta? +
WHMCS has a ready-made module on the WHMCS Marketplace. HostBill and Blesta do not have a native module yet, but the partner flow is API-first, so any system that can make HTTP calls can drive the whole provisioning lifecycle from its own hooks. Tell us if a native module would decide it for you.
What about SOC 2 or ISO 27001? +
Certification status changes over time, so we avoid blanket claims on this page. Ask Sebastien for the current security and compliance posture during procurement.
Can I white-label only part of the experience? +
Yes. You can start with custom domain and branded alerts, then add logo and color customization when you are ready.
